The BAJA SAE team at UIC is part of the student-run SAE @ UIC organization team that designs, manufactures, tests, and races a custom single-seat off-road vehicle. The competition is an unforgiving one, as much of the dynamic courses are built with the intention of pushing the structural limits of the vehicle’s components.

Dating back to the 1980’s the UIC Baja team is the longest running program here at SAE @ UIC. These decades of experience have ultimately led to today’s team, which has a strong fundamental foundation.
